Korean Side Dish

 Hi genk, this time I will tell you about the practical activities I did on campus on Wednesday, March, 23 2022.

At that time, my class was going to make a side dish from Korea. The menus we make are Kimbab, Hotteok and Mandoo. This menu processing is not done individually, but as a whole. My group consists of 5 people. We divide the tasks to process the menu so that it can be completed quickly.

On the previous day, I and several other group representatives came to the kitchen to prepare the ingredients to be used the next day. This is done because our time in making the product is very limited. What we prepared the day before was mashing brown sugar, peanuts for hotteok filling and preparing other ingredients.

Okay, back to practice activities on Wednesday. I helped cut up the sausage and carrots with julienne chunks for the kimbab. I also helped my friends a little when making mandoo skins.

Hotteok dough, rice for kimbab and mandoo filling are not made by each group, but made by one group who is responsible for making this side dish.

At that time, I helped to make mandoo by wrapping the mandoo filling with the mandoo skin that had been made. Actually the process is quite difficult, but because of the help of friends, the process can be easily done. After the mandoo is finished modeling, the mandoo will be steamed.
