Japanese Side Dish

Hello guys, I will tell you about the practical activities I did on April 22, 2022. 

At that time, we will make 3 side dishes from Japan, namely Dorayaki, Dango and Tempura. Surely you are familiar when you hear the three menus, especially for those who love Japanese food. 

Dorayaki is made from soft flour, sugar, fresh milk, egg, baking soda, baking powder, vanilla extract and honey. For the filling, red beans are mashed and cooked with sugar. 

Dango is a food that is round like a meatball and is similar to onde-onde and Tang Yuan. Made from glutinous rice flour, rice flour, sugar. We divide the dough into three and 2 doughs are given red and green coloring, after that they are rounded and boiled until the dango floats. After that, the dango is skewered on a skewer, like a skewer of meatballs. 

Tempura is made from prawns which are given flour, water, vinegar, baking powder, then fried. Tempura also has a sauce called tentsuyu, which consists of soy sauce, apple juice, water and sugar.
